Committee of Martyrs Families and Missing, the KOMAW, condemned usage by the Turkish occupation state of chemical weapons in Kurdistan against the Guerrilla Forces.
On the issue a statement was released by KOMAW reads:
”the Turkish state commits crimes against humanity under the nose of the whole world, and puts into execution genocidal acts against the Kurdish people in the whole of Kurdistan using heavy highly advanced weapons not sparing every evil species of chemical gases in Avashin, Zap, Metina, Southern Kurdistan and Rojava where these weapons were used at least 157 times in one month claiming lives of many and causing many injuries.
This is not a new reality to the Kurds who experienced the barbarity of the Turkish state in the Dersim Revolt of 1938 where children, women and the elderly were killed by Rodenticide in caves. Ihsan Sabri Chalayangil confessed that admittedly and proudly.
We call on the UN, the international community and all human rights associations not to remain silent towards this barbarity and brutality led by the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party. Those remain silent are partners to these crimes committed against humanity.
