Italian paper ‘Il Sole 24 ORE’ published a statement calling Kurdistan Workers’ Party be removed from the Terror List.
A note that was signed by intellectuals and free thinking people all around the world was published by the Italian paper Il Sole 24 ORE calling Kurdistan Workers’ Party, the PKK, be removed from the terror list, according to the Firat News Agency, ANF.
The call was released under ‘Urgent Appeal’ asking for justice for the Kurds and PKK removal from black list.
The paper noted keeping PKK in the black list is an obstruction to find a solution or to make peace in the region. The paper indicated to the role played by Kurds and Kurdistan Workers’ Party to the fight against ISIS in both Syria and Iraq more specifically the humanitarian corridor opened for thousands of Yazidis in Shengal in 2014 fleeing ISIS barbarity. It was also adumbrated that PKK is the most popular Kurdish party that unites Kurds.
This comes as calls and appeals are made time and again by many intellectuals and papers all around the world released all calling for the removal of PKK from the EU black list.
